LUMISHELL is a prefab modular dwelling intended to be implanted in the heart of nature. The concept for this project was born out of a partnership between LUMICENE®, a budding firm developing a concept of curved sliding windows, and Christophe Benichou, a young engineer and architect, passionate about wilderness architecture. Designed with a curving structure, this unique pod blurs the distinction between indoor and outdoor space to offer the unique experience of being outside, while enjoying the inside comfort. At the center of the dwelling is a kitchen and bathroom, flanked by a circular bedroom and living room.
