Located on a small private oasis east of Taveuni, Fiji, Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz contracted Scape Design Associates to create his own exclusive resort. Mateschitz purchased the island back in 2003 from the family of publishing giant, Malcolm Forbes. Initially, Laucala was Dietrich Mateschitz’s personal private retreat where celebrities could visit to escape the paparazzi. This marks the first time the dream resort has surfaced online which includes, 25 villas, house restaurant, golf club, pool bar, spa, sea grass lounge and beach bar. Check out the images below:
