Tucked away in the pine hills of Calistoga, California, the Napa Valley House by Eliot Lee and Eun Lee sits nearly indistinguishable from the natural environment. This rustic home has an intimate relationship with the hills around it, and features landscape and material construction that keeps mother nature in mind. Built directly into a rocky ridge that slopes downward toward a valley, the Napa Valley House uses the rocks as a part of the design that is repeated in various aspects of the home’s construction. Divided into Four buildings, the house is separated and constructed around the exterior landscape.
