Ace Hotel recently opened up its 7th location in the historic Casco Viejo region in Panama City. Frequently described as a mix between old Havana and New Orleans, the ‘American Trade Hotel‘ is conveniently located close to the city’s cultural center. Built by design firm Commune and architect Hildegard Vasquez, the 50-room, five story boutique hotel maintains a sense of Panama City’s local heritage. The inside of the hotel is inspired by vintage Mexican and French designs, which can be seen in custom-made pieces of furniture including iconic Bertoia chairs.
