The Hamptons has always been considered a favorite summer destination for the rich. Known for having some of the largest and most expensive beach properties in the US, design firm ICRAVE was recently asked to transform the outdoor area at a private residence into a contemporary pool and spa retreat. Designed for entertaining in the hot summer months, the modern indoor/ outdoor oasis is comprised of three open, yet defined living areas which include a bedroom and spa that is connected by a central entertainment area. Built proportionately to the length of the rectangular pool in front of the structure, long flowing curtains blur the line between indoors and outdoors while provide privacy for the bedroom. The entertainment area features a sunken mezzanine with a dark steel fireplace, outdoor grill, and intricately carved wooden daybed perfect for laying out in the sun. Lastly, the spa room provides guests with an immaculate wellness and relaxation center that comes with a jacuzzi, sauna, and shower. Check out images of the pool house below:
