Paul Cremoux Studio just released images of their latest project dubbed the ‘Cormanca House‘ in Mexico City. The house aims to make the most of the tight space, by providing the owners a residence with layers of complexity. The second level of the ‘Cormanca House‘ is used primarily as an outdoor patio, in which the property tries to push the definition of courtyard by creating a relationship between the horizontal interior, exterior and new vertical green wall. Containing over 4000 different plants, the vegetated wall is a natural regulator for humidity, temperature, and air quality, taking out a large surface area of what would otherwise absorb a considerable amount of heat. Good news: recyclable materials, environmentally-friendly paints, and an effective use of cross ventilation make the ‘Cormanca House‘ a sustainable efficient home. Check out the images below, and as always, let us know what you think!
