Designed by Chen + Suchart Studio, the Yerger Residence in Phoenix, Arizona is a contemporary home that is masterfully constructed from weathering steel and concrete. Comprised of two forms, the entrance of the residence boast floor to ceiling views of an endless pool projecting out into the private yard at the rear of the property. The kitchen and living room both feature operable glass walls that open the space up to the exterior with views of Camelback Mountain. Guest bedrooms are placed side by side next to the social living areas but maintain their own sense of privacy from the rest of the house.
The master suite is located across the house in a masonry structure that focuses more on the controlled views to and from the exterior. Similar to the living room and kitchen, the master suite opens up to mountain views and a private pool. Take a look below:
