Los Angeles-based clothing and furniture designer James Perse just listed his 7,400 square foot Malibu “farmhouse.” The designer’s six-bedroom Malibu home is located on roughly 2 acres in the Point Dume area, and features a stunning distinct rustic complexion. Built with a 50-foot long swimming pool, Mr. Perse bought the house in 2013 for $6.69 million as an investment and spent about a year renovating and furnishing it. Inspired by Malibu’s rich surfing culture he aimed to infuse the house with “old-world kind of farmer charm” and “ranch sensibility.” Filled with countless custom furnishings and and restored antique pieces throughout the interior, take a closer look below:
James Perse‘s Malibu “farmhouse” is currently listed on the market with a $13 million USD price tag.
