This remote beachside cottage is located in New Zealand on the Seascape Banks Peninsula, made from the eroded remnants of two large composite volcanoes. Built on a tiny boulder strewn South Pacific cove, Auckland-based Pattersons Associates Architects did an incredible job integrating the structure into the natural landscape. The cottage consists of three rooms- a lobby, a living/sleeping room and a bathroom. Designed originally in 2011 as a honeymoon destination, Seascape Retreat is now not only for lovers but also those who like to escape in style.
